There are well over 70 very well-known attractions in Margaret River and Southwest Australia. These areas generate thousands of tourists and local folks annually. That is why Margaret River guests will never run out of things to do. You can also observe the sun set above the Indian Ocean and inhale fresh air all the time. Or, go and visit the subterranean caves, Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park and the spectacular Boranup Forest.

Margaret River hasbecome well-known for its wine makers and excellent blends. These chateaus offer you some of the greatest wines that come from Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Grigio. Also, there is an awesome line-up of posh restaurants, magnificent accommodations and markets that offer a variety of products. Here you can notice the daily routine of wine cellar workers from farming to trimming and fermentation techniques. Some of the best grapes are said to be developed here. The blend and aroma is more intense resulting from the extended growing time and cold weather.

Animal farms are also ideal places for family tours. These will certainly provide enjoyment and worthwhile educational experience both for grownups and children. You can visit the Sunflowers Animal Farm, Country Life Farm, Margaret River Silk Road, Wonky Windmill Farm and Eco Park, and Metricup Bird Park.

Heritage sites can be next on your checklist. Ellensbrook is a heritage location that lies in the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park. It was erected in 1857 and became part of the National Trust in 1979. In contrast, Busselton Museum consists of various memorabilia, photographs, old furniture, and clothes. The Heritage Butter Factorydepicts nearly 200 years of Busseton's memoirs.

The famous Margaret River Farmer's Market is another must-see place. It boasts of fresh and regular produce. These markets are held on Saturdays and provide you the chance to purchase cheese, meat, fruits, veggies and sweets directly from the producers. Popular names include Margaret River Bakery, Farmhouse Meats and Tapalinga Homestead Produce.

The A'mazen Margaret River Park features the huge hedge web and vast property full of smaller labyrinths, gardens, puzzles, and games. It took a total of 24 years to grow this amazing maze and maintenance is continuous. There are two around the clock gardeners who take care of trimming 7,500 square meters of bushes which can take nearly two months. The area is open 365 days a year and holds group events on a regular basis.
