For more than one family, summer trips and vacations would not be complete without their little four legged junior "loved ones" tagging along. In this case, they always need to include the welfare of their pets during any vacation trips as well as in the hotels, resorts, restaurants they are planning to go. Nowadays, some of hotels and motel chains are offering the best friendly canine & feline friendly services to the families. It seems that these families are not complete without adorable critters. For example the widely known "Choice Hotel Group" seems to be one such hospitality trades group always tinkering to provide comfort giving as well as innovative touches to this market niche.

Animals are not fond of riding. They sometimes become agitated and stressed due to the long trips or new environment but you can do something to deal with these situations. Dry runs are also recommended in order to make them comfortable and completely adjust on the actual trip. Make sure that their body is secured with seat belts. Some of the owner may also include the cases or pet kennels in a seat belt. If you are having trouble sourcing out these accessories try specialized big box stores, eBay, Amazon or other online providers.

One tip of professionals in these fields is to recommend that if you are a first timer guest in any or all establishments it pays good stead, you should conduct a little research about the amenities offered to these particular type and brand of "visitors and guests". Pet friendly food availabilities and even distinct "dining" rooms should be the next priorities that you need to look at. Finding answers to these inquiries ahead of time is strongly recommended.

Collars and IDs are also essential just like the documents. Your pet tag must have complete information like the owner's name, pet's name, and contact numbers. Be sure to include all the necessary information. Some tags can be edited and you must remember to update the information. Collars and IDs should be worn by your pet during travel as well as in the hotel or resort that you are going to.

Behavioral changes are common issues with pets. They might pass soft stools and urinate more often while in travel but the good thing is you can deal with them through bringing some litter bags and plastics. Foods and drinks are also important. Bring separate dishes and include the favorite foods of your pet. Provide comfort and care by reducing their stress and agitation to new environment.
