There are many great monuments in Miami that are mentioned on the United States list of National Historical Landmarks, an amazing tool for anyone anyone trying to find unique places to go to visit and has a want to find out lots more about the history of the United States.

Freedom Tower

Maybe the most widely recognized of the Miami monuments is Freedom Tower. Often referred to as the Ellis Island of Miami, Freedom Tower is where many Cubans came to immigrate to the U. S.. The tower was donated to Miami Dade College and is now used often to host art items. This landmark is located in the middle of Miami is beautiful and an ideal spot for images.

Miami Biltmore Hotel and Members Club

The Miami Biltmore is a luxury like no other. The spa services, the perfectly maintained golf course, unique dining experiences (like Palme d'Or, which was ranked best overall experience by Zagat), the Biltmore Culinary Academy (where celebrity culinary artists give hands on lessons to guests), all mix to give an elegant and refined experience for any adventuring.

Ferdinand Magellan-United States Car No. 1

One of the Miami monuments that's at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum is the Ferdinand Magellan, the 1st Presidential Rail Car. While the interior of the train isn't available for public viewing the long history of this vehicle makes it a very important part of American History. This auto was one of the last private train cars that were ever built and the train car is the sole indivdual passenger car on the registrar list of National Historic Landmarks. The Gold Coast Railroad Museum is an affordable and interesting place to speedily learn a lot about American History. Anybody with an interest in trains will have a great time having a hands on experience with the retired train cars and a chance to ride some of the trains which have been restored so they can be viewed by patrons.

The Miami Circle At Brickell Point Site

This landmark is an archaeological site of the Tequesta Indians from 2000 years ago. A perfect circle cut into the rock is a site to behold. The park is quiet and wide open, offering a unique waterfront and a great place for a an enjoyable afternoon inside of the busy city. This is one of the most recent monuments in Miami to be inducted to the National Register of Historic Places. Tours of the burial sites are offered by the Historic Museum of Southern Florida.

Vizcay Museum And Gardens

Monuments in Miami like the Vizcay Museum and Gardens, give the culture of Miami its unique flavour. This museum is the property of Miami-Dade county and the stunning design and plants make it an extraordinary location for beginner and experienced photographers alike. Vizcay Museum And Gardens are full of stunning unique and exotic plants that are maintained superbly. There is an open air house has been the home of a few influential Americans over history and renovated multiple times with lush accouterments each time.
